This was an exhibition based on the 14 th and 15 th century murals that decorated the refectory of the Pia Almoina, or the poor people's dining room, currently kept at the Museu de Lleida: Diocesà i Comarcal. The fragments conserved from these murals show us poverty and various aspects of daily life from the last medieval centuries in the city of Lleida.

The murals were presented in photographs and the exhibition contained a series of panels with graphic information on the three main lines: the paintings, which made up the introduction, with stylistic and chronological characteristics; the historical and urban context, explaining the city of Lleida in the late middle ages; and daily life, showing the food, poverty and marginalisation.
