Educational dossier: Light and shadow. Memory of a reredos
February 2002
The exhibition "Light and shadow. Memory of a reredos" presented the recovery of one of the jewels the Museum kept in its archive: the Reredos of Piety. Taking advantage of the chance provided by this exhibition to display a complete reredos, we proposed to schools, and specifically to the pupils at primary level and first cycle of ESO, a parallel activity to the visit of a more educational nature, allowing the boys and girls to get to know or at least familiarise themselves with the narrative discourse and iconography of these complex works of art; perceiving the reredos as a great narration that we need to know how to read and that illustrates the wealth of the plastic arts.

Skin of Stone exhibition leaflet
February 2003
The Skin of Stone display meant we could plan various educational actions in order to improve the interpretation of the objects exhibited. By travelling through the major artistic trends of the medieval period, this exhibition illustrated the importance of the architectural sculptures that adorned the great Romanesque and Gothic monuments in our region: the collegiate of Sant Pere in the town of Àger, the old cathedral or "Seu Vella" and the church of Saint Joan el Vell (John the Elder) in the city of Lleida. The enclosed educational leaflet was accompanied by an interpretation point on medieval master stonemasons introduced by the display and various educational workshops were held here. |

Dossier didàctic: Una taula parada. Pobres, malalts i pelegrins a la Lleida medieval
Juliol 2003
